General Manager – New Store Opening

Full Time Greensboro, NC

About this role

About This Opportunity

We're a veteran, minority, and family-owned company with deep roots in North Carolina. Every plate we serve is made with all-natural ingredients — no added hormones, no FDA allergens. Our Pollo a la Brasa, marinated and slow-roasted over wood charcoal, has earned a reputation we're proud of.

Now we're expanding, and we're looking for the General Manager who will open our Greensboro location, build the team, and set the standard for everything that follows.

This is not a caretaker role.  You'll start with a blank slate: hiring your crew, shaping your culture, and owning your results from day one.

What You'll Own

  • Drive daily sales, guest satisfaction scores, and store-level profitability
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team from scratch
  • Own scheduling, food ordering, inventory, and cost controls (food & labor)
  • Maintain a safe, sanitary, fully compliant operation — no shortcuts
  • Communicate proactively with your Area Operations Director, peer GMs, and all support departments (Catering, Admin, IT, Maintenance, Events)
  • Manage vendor and property relationships for the Greensboro location

What We Offer

  • $55,000–$60,000/year based on experience
  • Monthly GM performance bonus
  • Paid time off (PTO)
  • Major holidays off: Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day
  • One free meal every shift + 20% discount on days off
  • Annual winter holiday celebration
  • A company that lives its values every day: Family · Integrity · Respect · Gratitude · Quality

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 1+ year of fast-casual or QSR management experience
  • Proven track record driving sales and controlling costs
  • Experience recruiting, hiring, training, and coaching hourly team members
  • Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work 50–55 hours/week including nights and weekends

Strongly Preferred:

  • P&L and budgeting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business or hospitality management
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish

Our Culture

If you've built your career on cutting corners or treating people as headcount, we're not the right fit. If you lead by example, communicate honestly, and genuinely care about the people you serve and the people you manage — let's talk.
